Despite chilly weather and spotty rain, parents, relatives, and other loved ones visited their Stanford students during Family Weekend 2023.
Attendees convened on campus Friday and Saturday for the annual event, which invites families to see what life is like at Stanford. Families enjoyed tours, open houses, panel discussions, academic lectures, and a resource fair. They also ate lunch in the dining halls and visited student residences to meet resident fellows and assistants.
The weekend closed with a Student Winter Showcase that featured student performances, including from the steelpan band Cardinal Calypso and the Indian dance group Basmati Raas.
