Scenes from fall Farm Day
Food truck favorites, live entertainment, lawn games, and souvenir T-shirts and tote bags brought out the crowds on a warm, sunny afternoon with friends.
White Plaza was the place to be Saturday afternoon for this fall’s Farm Day.
Thousands of students packed the center of campus for the event, which featured food, entertainment, lawn games, and souvenir T-shirts and tote bags.
Performances included rap musician Armani White and student bands and DJs, organized by the Stanford Concert Network student group.
West Coast Farmers Market vendors cooked up a variety of favorites including from stir-fried noodles to shave ice to kettle corn, all offered to students at no cost. Beer was available for purchase from the Treehouse for those 21 and over.
Farm Day is a biannual outdoor festival that began in 2019 when a group of students and professional staff – the Stanford Social Project – was formed to create more and varied social life opportunities on campus. The event was organized by the Office of Student Engagement.
