Hong Kong Ballet's Oct. 5 performance at Stanford canceled

The Hong Kong Ballet has canceled its upcoming Northern California tour, including the performance scheduled for Oct. 5 in Memorial Auditorium.

The cancellation stems from scheduling conflicts, according to the ballet, which begins its 2001-02 touring season Oct. 12 in Los Angeles.

Those who ordered tickets by credit card for the Stanford Lively Arts performance have not been charged; those who paid by check can use the money toward another Lively Arts event or receive a full refund.
