Faculty Senate to meet Thursday

The Faculty Senate will convene Thursday for its fourth meeting of the Winter Quarter.

The senate will hear several reports detailing faculty gains and losses, recruitment and retention, and the status of women faculty. The agenda also will include a report on student life from Gene Awakuni, vice provost for student affairs.

The senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. in Room 180 at the School of Law. The discussion is limited to members of the senate, but members of the Stanford community can request to attend the meeting by contacting the academic secretary's office at 723-4992 or delpozzo@stanford.edu.
