Molecular virologist Irvin Chen, PhD, director of the UCLA AIDS Institute, will give a talk titled “Gene therapy with and against HIV-1” March 18 in the ongoing Frontiers in Gene and Cellular Therapies lecture series.

The series is hosted by professor Helen M. Blau, PhD, director of the Baxter Laboratory for Genetic Pharmacology, and professor Mark A. Kay, MD, PhD, director of Human Gene Therapy.

Chen’s talk presented by Pediatrics Human Gene Therapy starts at 3 p.m. in Munzer auditorium at the Beckman Center.
