covered in ‘frontiers’ series
The Frontiers in Biology lecture series will present a talk today
titled “Towards the solution of a eukaryotic cell: Finding
functional sequences in the yeast genome.”
University of Washington professor Mark Johnston, PhD, will present
the lecture.
Johnson’s talk begins at 4 p.m. in the Clark Center
auditorium.
Jointly presented by the departments of biochemistry, developmental
biology and genetics, the series focuses on new areas of research
with broad biomedical interest. The talk is free and open to the
public.
Next Wednesday the series presents “The evolution of
segmentation and body patterning” by professor Nipam Patel,
PhD, from UC-Berkeley.
