Memorial for economist James Rosse set for April 14 A memorial for economist and former Stanford Provost James N. Rosse, who died Feb. 16, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, in Memorial Church. During his tenure at the university, Rosse also served as a director at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. He was a current member of the institute's advisory board. A reception at the institute, which is located on campus at 579 Serra Mall, will immediately follow the memorial service. Please call 725-1872 if planning to attend. A memorial fund has been established for graduate students in the Department of Economics at Stanford. Donations may be sent to the Office of Development, Frances C. Arrillaga Center, 326 Galvez St., Stanford, CA 94305-6105. Please indicate "in memory of James N. Rosse." |
