Energy workshops to focus on wind energy, hydrogen production, biomass and more The Global Climate and Energy Project (GCEP) is holding a series of energy workshops on April 26 (Carbon-Free Production of Hydrogen from Fossil Fuels and Wind Energy) and April 27 (Carbon Capture and Separation and Biomass) at the Arrillaga Alumni Center. Outside experts from leading research institutions and private industry will discuss technical barriers and research opportunities for energy technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The workshops -- open to Stanford faculty, students and alumni -- will inform the community about areas in which GCEP may consider sponsoring research next year. Workshop agendas are available at http://gcep.stanford.edu. Registration is free and required for meals. Contact gcep@stanford.edu to request a registration form. Space is limited; please register by April 19. |
